When a child is in treatment, getting dinner on the table can be a real challenge. West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation provides nourishing meals to families at the hospital and at home - at no cost to them.

Why Food Support

Why Food Support

Food provides support, care, and connection beyond the expression of words.

When a child is in treatment, taking care of your basic needs can be incredibly difficult. Caregivers in the hospital often have to make the devastating choice between feeding themselves and leaving their child's bedside. For families transitioning from the hospital to at-home care, new routines, medication needs, and side effects from treatment make getting dinner on the table a real challenge.

West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation aims to ease this daily load for families by providing nourishing meals to families at the hospital and at home - at no cost to them.

Testimonials

"These meals have lifted an enormous weight each day. They have given me extra time to do other things as well as sit down longer at the table with my children. This is more than a delivery of food and nutrition, it's a gift of time and energy."

"We really appreciate these easy meals. WCK has been absolutely amazing at supporting our family 💕 we are so very, very grateful."

"Mason hasn't had a meal since Friday afternoon. He's had some crackers since but food, food is a no. Thankfully West Coast Kids Cancer Foundation has a freezer with some meals like these pizzas! So thankful he is actually eating something!"
